Your Impact
As a Frontend Engineer II on the team, you will be responsible for planning, designing, building and implementing user interface features that will shape our products. These products offer law enforcement administrators and crime analysts flexible access to key crime data, decision support, state and federal crime reports, and criminal investigation insights. You know what it takes to build both intuitively usable and highly performant front-end experiences for customers.
Your primary goal is to provide a delightful user experience with no issues, errors, or downtime. Our frontend engineers strive for a high degree of user satisfaction.

What You’ll Do
- Impact the development and design of the world’s largest digital evidence management system.
- Work with other frontend developers to establish and enforce standards for code quality as we modernize our react/redux codebase.
- Coordinate across teams in building software that meets web accessibility standards and which works across language and culture.
- Work cross-functionally to build experiences and important insights out of digital data
- Build the tools that help detectives, patrol officers, crime lab assistants, and more solve major crimes
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering, OR graduate of coding boot camp OR 3+ years of relevant experience in related field
- Highly technical with experience or education in developing and maintaining user interfaces

- Experience with frontend languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, or CSS
- Demonstrated ability to make tough technical decisions based on requirements, constraints, and trade-offs

The Pay: Axon is a total compensation company, meaning compensation is made up of base pay, bonus, and stock awards. The starting base pay for this role is between USD 130,500 in the lowest geographic market and USD 208,800 in the highest geographic market. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, geographic market, and often a combination of all these factors.
