Position: Human Resources Business Partner(HRBP)
We’re in search of an enterprising Human Resources Business Partner(HRBP) who has a strong passion for people and culture to join our People Operations team. This position will provide company-wide HR support with an emphasis on employee relations and streamlining policies and procedures to ensure a reliable and smooth employee experience.
The HRBP will report to the Sr. Director of People and have both administrative and strategic responsibilities, helping us to plan and administer important functions, such as staffing, training & development, compensation and benefits.

What you’ll do:
- Assist in developing and executing personnel procedures and policies, providing guidance and interpretation for business operations
- Support the ideation and implementation of people processes and programs this may include but is not restricted to onboarding, performance management, benefits, talent management, employee programs, and engagement surveys
- Suggest new procedures and policies to continually improve efficiency of the HR department and organization as a whole and to improve employee experience
- Ensure legal compliance of HR state and federal regulations and applicable employment laws, and update policies and/or procedures as required
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Partner: Act as a strategic advisor to business leaders, understanding their objectives and providing HR solutions aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Employee Relations: Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, conducting thorough and fair investigations as needed, and providing guidance to managers on conflict resolution.
- Talent Management: Support talent acquisition, retention, and development strategies, including performance management, succession planning, and career development initiatives.
- Change Management: Lead and facilitate change management initiatives, supporting organizational changes, and ensuring smooth transitions during restructuring, mergers, or other business transformations.
- HR Policy and Compliance: Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies, reviewing and updating HR policies and procedures as needed.
- HR Analytics: Analyze HR metrics and data to identify trends, provide insights, and make data-driven recommendations to improve HR processes and decision-making.
- Training and Development: Collaborate with managers to identify training needs, design training programs, and facilitate learning opportunities to enhance employee skills and competencies.
- HR Projects: Lead or contribute to HR projects as assigned, such as diversity and inclusion initiatives, employee engagement programs, or other strategic HR projects.
Sample of Daily and Monthly Tasks:
- Manage the pre-boarding and onboarding processes to ensure new hires have a positive experience and are seamlessly integrated into the company culture
- Cultivate relationships with employees and managers to gain valuable feedback on employee experience/engagement and team effectiveness, leading to critical insights for action
- Provide an effective and dedicated HR advisory service to employees in relation to absence and health issues, conduct and capability, grievance matters, organizational change, and all other employee-relations
- Ensure hygiene of employee data through updates and conducting periodic reviews for accuracy and compliance
- Provide reporting to track key people metrics and derive actionable insights for opportunities or risks. This includes analysis of surveys, hiring and attrition
- Assist in the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of employee handbook, intranet, and organizational chart, and contribute to the development of policies

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience as an HRBP or in a similar HR role
- HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR) is a plus
- Proficient knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations
- Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness
- Resourceful, problem-solving aptitude and thorough knowledge of HR procedures and policies
- Advanced knowledge of GSuite, HRIS systems (preferably Rippling), and comfortable learning new technical systems as needed
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
- Strong detail-oriented and resourceful mindset
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without stipulations and be residents of the United States.
Pay: $90,000-$100,000 (all in compensation, no bonus)
