As a Production Engineering Technician, you will play a critical role in building high-quality safety technology products that support Axon’s mission. You will be responsible for assembling, testing, and verifying sensor systems in a structured production environment. Your work directly contributes to product reliability, customer trust, and the overall performance of our manufacturing operations.
What You’ll Do
Location: Kassel, Germany office 5 days a week
Reports to: Sebastian Peter
- Assemble sensor systems and components according to defined work instructions, drawings, and quality standards
- Perform functional tests and basic troubleshooting to ensure product performance and compliance
- Follow standardized processes to ensure consistent quality, safety, and efficiency across production lines
- Identify and report deviations, defects, or process issues in a timely and structured manner
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on assembly processes and workflows
- Maintain accurate documentation of production activities, test results, and material usage
- Ensure proper handling of materials, tools, and equipment in line with EHS guidelines
- Collaborate with team members, engineering, and quality teams to resolve production issues
- Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient work environment (5S principles)
What You Bring
- Completed vocational training (technical field preferred) or equivalent hands-on experience in manufacturing or assembly
- Initial experience in production, assembly, or electronics manufacturing environments is beneficial
- Ability to read and follow technical work instructions and basic drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Reliable, structured, and team-oriented way of working
- Basic problem-solving skills and willingness to learn and improve processes
- Openness to working in a fast-paced, evolving production environment
