Position: Event Coordinator (Contract, Part-Time)
Pay Rate: $25-28/hr (1099)
Please note, this is an hourly, contract position with approximately 100 hours per month (25/week). This role is not eligible for the Company Benefits listed below.
The Event Coordinator will report to the Event Leader on the Marketing team at Interplay Learning and assist in the planning and execution phases of both small and large scale events: trade shows, meetings, industry events, conferences, meals, and receptions.

What you’ll do:
- Play a crucial role in ensuring the success of corporate events by meticulously planning and managing aspects of the event from conception to completion.
- Vendor and logistics planning and management.
- Other tasks include those related to food & beverage, utilities, AV, collateral and lead generation.
- Juggle multiple deadlines and priorities alongside budget.
- Ensure quality control for all trade show deliverables, including proofreading and design approval.
- Onsite event management.
- Assist with special projects, as needed.

- Willingness to roll up sleeves and manage all logistical details
- Self-starter with independent thinking, capable of managing multiple projects and meeting all deadlines
- Ability to work equally well in both a team environment and independently
- Service-minded attitude in all areas of the planning process and execution
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in corporate event and trade show planning
- Minimal travel required
- Strong computer skills in Google Suite and Zoom with the ability to learn programs as required
- Demonstrated ability to work with all levels of the organization and vendors from C-level to onsite workers at events.
- Exceptional organizational and follow-through skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without stipulations and be residents of the United States.
