Your Impact
You will be responsible for building electronic components assemblies used for airspace security (drone detection). This is an exciting opportunity to work on state of the art technology that's being manufactured right here in Phoenix, AZ!
Overall knowledge and awareness of drones and airspace rules is also a benefit!
What You'll Do
- Manufacturing of hardware components per specified instructions.
- Maintaining high quality standards through closely following directions and testing of systems prior to being sent to end-user customer.
- Ability to perform adhoc troubleshooting of mechanical and electronic components to determine when specific components are not functioning properly per specifications.
- Ability to safely and effectively solder wires, utilize electrical test equipment to verify connectivity and test for shorts, proper voltages, etc.
- Ability to safely and effectively use power tools to drill holes in fiberglass and sheet metal.
- Ability to provide written documentation on all finalized products in system of record (production record keeping).
What you bring
- No formal degree is required but a AS in technical field is beneficial.
- Must be able to follow documented instructions and learn quickly.
- Experience with soldering is beneficial, but can also be trained.
- Highly beneficial to be mechanically inclined.
